Supporting Research in Sustainable Use of Wildlife and Game Management
The Conservation and Wildlife Research Trust (CWRT) provide grants to support research and applied projects that advance the sustainable use of wildlife and effective game management in Australia.
CWRT will consider applications for projects that demonstrate direct benefit to the sustainable use of wildlife and game management. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

Applications should consist of a concise proposal (maximum 3–4 pages) accompanied by a brief CV of the Principal Investigator. Proposals must include:
Aims, species or systems studied, and relevance to sustainable wildlife use or game management.
The need for the project and its contribution to conservation outcomes.
Study design, data collection and analysis, including ethical and legal approvals.
Details of partnerships with landholders, Indigenous groups, hunters, agencies, or other stakeholders.
Key milestones and anticipated completion date. Funding is allocated for a maximum of 3 years.
Itemised costs with justification.
Anticipated benefits for wildlife management, policy or community understanding.
Applicant CV, reference, and evidence of permits where applicable.
